Initial situation
Where the website was at the start: 6 critical problems that blocked growth
The client came to LightSEO with a typical but complex task: the website had limited organic visibility, unstable positions and did not use the potential of search traffic.
Weak visibility in the TOP
Key queries hardly ever reached the top ten. The website was "invisible" to the target audience, although the potential was huge.
Incomplete query coverage
Commercial and category queries were practically not covered. Entire layers of target keywords were missing from the website.
Fragmented structure
The website had grown chaotically. It lacked a clear architecture, logical connections between sections and a proper page hierarchy.
Weak link profile
Not enough high-quality external links. The domain lacked authority in the eyes of search engines.
Average positions 40-50+
Most key queries were at positions 40-50 and lower. Invisibility in search meant no clicks and no sales.
Unstable results
Algorithm updates caused sharp jumps in positions. There was no clear direction of development – just "fluctuations" up and down.
The task for LightSEO
Build systematic SEO promotion with predictable growth and no risks for the business. Beyond improving positions, the goal was to create a long-term asset that brings stable traffic.

Promotion strategy
From the technical base to leadership in the niche: five key vectors that produced the maximum synergy effect
1. Expanding the structure through SEO filters and new landing pages
Initial problem: the website had a limited number of target pages. We carried out a full audit of the keyword core and created hundreds of new landing pages using a system of filters by brand, specifications and equipment type.
- New filter landing pages created (by brand, specifications, purpose, geolocation)
- The website began to rank in the TOP 3 for many high-volume commercial queries such as "Deye inverters", "solar panels 500", "batteries for a solar system"
- Static URLs with clear addresses and unique meta tags (title, description, H1) for every page
2. Expert content and deep on-page optimization
Equipment for solar power plants is a technically complex product that requires trust and expertise. We replaced superficial "texts for the sake of texts" with expert materials.
- Writing SEO-optimized category descriptions focused on technical specifications, performance and applications
- Working through headings (H1-H3), adding LSI words (semantically related terms) to improve relevance
- Optimizing product cards: adding structured data, improving subheadings and descriptions
3. Work on navigation, internal linking and behavioral factors
Optimizing the Customer Journey is the key to improving behavioral factors and reducing the bounce rate.
- Logical linking chains: from general categories to specific products and back (for example, "Inverters" → "Deye inverters" → a specific model)
- An improved navigation structure using breadcrumbs for easier orientation
- Adding product recommendations based on complementary products (inverters + controllers + batteries)
4. Link building: building domain authority
Without a high-quality link profile it is impossible to reach top positions in a competitive niche. We implemented a multi-level backlink acquisition strategy.
- Buying backlinks on authoritative thematic platforms (alternative energy portals, environmental websites, professional publications)
- Working with news websites in the niche: placing mentions of new products and catalog updates
- Building trust: earning mentions on forums and in professional communities (social media groups, thematic forums)
5. Monitoring, analysis and continuous optimization
SEO is ongoing work that continues beyond any single project. We implemented a monitoring and optimization system to maintain and improve results.
- Weekly position analysis in Search Console and SE Ranking – tracking movement for target keywords
- A/B testing of title and description to improve CTR
- Competitor analysis: monitoring their strategies and adapting when necessary
Examples of keywords in the TOP 3 at the end of the project

Growth in clicks and impressions (January 2025 – January 2026)
The chart shows how systematic SEO work led to exponential growth in organic traffic. Starting from minimal figures at the beginning of the year, the website reached its peak activity by the end of the period.
Start of the period ~500 clicks/month
End of the period ~180 thousand impressions/month
Three key growth phases:
Phase 1
January – May 2025: Building the foundation
Creating new pages, writing content, buying backlinks. Traffic is minimal, but active preparatory work is underway. The chart shows no spikes – this is the investment period.
Phase 2
June – September 2025: The turning point
The first results of the work. Clear growth in impressions and clicks is visible. This is the moment when the Google algorithm starts to "see" the improvements on the website and raise its rankings.
Phase 3
October 2025 – January 2026: Exponential growth
The chart rises almost vertically. The synergy of all the work done delivers a powerful result. The figures reach their peaks in monthly impressions and clicks.
Visualizing success:
Clicks and impressions in Google Search Console over the SEO promotion period

Shows the growth of the website's visibility in Google search results and the increase in organic visits.
Change in the website's average position in Google search results

Clearly demonstrates the improvement in rankings for key queries – the move from positions 40+ to a stable TOP 10.
Comparison of key SEO metrics for the current and previous periods

Growth in clicks, impressions and CTR confirms the higher quality of organic traffic and the effectiveness of the SEO work.
Growth of the link profile: the number of referring domains.

Steady and safe link building without sharp spikes.
Project results in numbers: SEO as a business tool
The main result for the client went beyond the charts: real sales. Today organic search ranks second in the company's total sales volume (~30–35%), right after paid advertising.
Key benefits:
- Lower customer acquisition cost (CAC) in the long run
- Less dependence on advertising budgets – even with search ads switched off, the website generates a steady flow of orders
- A lasting competitive advantage in the niche
- A long-lived asset that keeps delivering results
Conclusion
This case study proves it: in technically complex niches, the winner is the one who works on the depth of the structure and the quality of the content. SEO is a systematic process that turns a website into a powerful business asset, with no "magic button" involved.
Timeframe: 14 months | Niche: Solar energy | Result: +3,996.7% traffic = Real sales and ROI
