What to do in the first week after launch
Launch is the moment when the first real data appears, and the finish line is still ahead. Spend the first week checking that everything really works – the celebrations can wait.

Five steps for the first week
1
Walk the buyer's path
On a phone: find a product through search and the catalog, add it to the cart, place an order with a real payment for a small amount.
2
Check indexing
Make sure the site isn't blocked from search engines. Add it to Search Console and submit the sitemap.
3
Verify analytics
Place a test order and see whether the conversion was recorded. Check that your own visits don't pollute the statistics.
4
Collect feedback
Ask a few people unrelated to the project to buy something. Ask "where did you get stuck?" instead of "how do you like the design?".
Attention
What to check in a test order
Customer email. Did it arrive, is it readable, does it include the order number and contact details.
Your notification. Did it arrive by email or in a messenger, does it end up in spam.
The order in the admin panel. Was it created, is the data correct, are the delivery and payment methods visible.
Conversion in analytics. The most frequently skipped item – half of all stores run for months with broken analytics.
The main thing
What not to do in the first week
Don't redo the site on day three. A week is too short to draw conclusions. Fix obvious breakages, and make decisions based on at least a month of statistics.
Launched a store and not sure everything works?
We'll run a check: walk the buyer's path, verify the analytics and show you what to fix first.
