Launching an online store in 14 days: a day-by-day breakdown

Light SEO · Launch breakdown

Case study: launching a store in 14 days – from brief to first orders

We break down, day by day, what a typical online store launch looks like with us: what happens at each stage, what we need from the owner and when the first sales come in. Example – a home goods store with a catalog of ~200 items.

14 days
from brief to launch
4 stages
with clear deadlines
2–3 hrs
of your time for the whole project

Days 1–2

Brief and foundation

A 40-minute briefing call. Product range, competitors, where your customers buy now, what makes you better. This is the only stage where your involvement is critical.
Demand analysis in the niche. We look at how people search for these products on Google – and design the catalog structure around it. Category = search query.
Technical start. Domain, platform, SSL – by the end of day two there is a "skeleton" of the store with the right structure and human-readable URLs.

Days 3–7

Design and content

Design customization. Home page for desktop and mobile, product page, brand colors, banners. We show interim results – edits go in right away, long before "handover".
Catalog import. ~200 products are uploaded from the supplier's file in a day: names, prices, photos, attributes. We polish the top 20 products by hand – better photos, engaging descriptions.
SEO templates. Title and Description are generated automatically for every product page – new products go live already optimized, with no extra work.

Days 8–10

Integrations and analytics

Payment and delivery. Nova Poshta with automatic waybills, online payment, cash on delivery. We place a test order ourselves, all the way from the cart to the SMS.
Notifications. Orders arrive in Telegram and by e-mail – none get lost.
Analytics BEFORE ads. GA4, conversions, the Meta Pixel – everything is set up now, so that ads learn from real data from day one.

Days 11–14

Merchant Center and ad launch

Pages that meet Google's requirements. Payment, delivery, returns, contacts – set up so that Merchant Center review passes on the first submission.
Feed and review. We submit the product feed and pass the check. In parallel we prepare a Performance Max campaign.
Launch. Day 14: the store takes orders, the ads are running, the owner gets the access details and a short guide to the admin panel.

What's next

The first weeks after launch

📦

Weeks 1–2: first orders

Shopping ads start bringing in buyers as soon as the campaign builds up impressions. In a typical niche, the first sales come exactly in this window.

🧠

Weeks 3–4: the algorithm learns

Performance Max collects conversion data, and the cost per order gradually goes down. We switch off what doesn't work and scale what does.

📈

Month 2+: SEO catches up

The structure laid down at the start begins to bring free traffic from Google – and the share of ads in sales gradually falls.

Specific figures depend on the niche, the average order value and the ad budget – so at the consultation we calculate a forecast for your particular case, because "average figures across the board" tell you nothing about your store.

Your store can take its first order in just 2 weeks

14 days is a proven process with no "if we're lucky" about it: brief, structure, design, content, integrations, Merchant Center, ads. From you – 2–3 hours of your time for the brief and approvals. We do the rest.
