Discuss your store

A spare part is searched for by the appliance model, the part code or the fault symptom, and the buyer's biggest fear is ordering the wrong part. An online store for home appliance parts is built around search by model and a compatibility check before the cart.

  • a catalog by appliance type, brand and part type, and search by name, SKU and code;
  • a list of the models the part fits in every product card;
  • original or aftermarket labels, manufacturer and replacement code;
  • dimensions, number of contacts, power and photos from several angles;
  • import of supplier price lists with price and stock updates;
  • part replacement instructions and videos, and wholesale prices for repair shops.

Questions

Frequent questions about an online store for home appliance spare parts

How much does an online store for home appliance spare parts cost?

A turnkey store costs from $500, with 1C / BAS integration – from $1,000, a complex project with integrations – from $2,000. The platform plan and domain are paid separately. Details are on the Turnkey online store page.

What platform will the store be on?

Our main platform is Horoshop: we are a certified Horoshop partner and have been launching stores on it since 2015. For custom logic, we recommend WordPress or custom development.

How do I upload products?

We import from a spreadsheet, a supplier feed or your old website. We structure the specifications so that they work in the filters.

Will you connect payment and delivery?

Yes: online payment, cash on delivery, Nova Poshta and order notifications in Telegram and by e-mail.

Where will the store get shoppers from?

We lay the SEO foundation during the launch, and for a quick start of sales we connect Google Shopping and Meta ads. The ad budget is paid separately.

I already have a store on another platform

We move it to Horoshop with products, page URLs and redirects – from $600. Details: store migration to Horoshop.

How buyers choose spare parts and what holds them back

A person whose washing machine or oven has broken down looks for a specific part: they know the appliance model, sometimes the code, sometimes only the symptom – for example, the water doesn't drain. They open several stores and check whether the part fits their model, whether it is original, how much it costs and when it will arrive.

What holds them back is the fear of ordering a part that won't fit and uncertainty about returns. So compatibility and exchange terms must be visible on the product page, before the cart.

What an online store for home appliance parts includes

  • a catalog by appliance type, brand and part type;
  • search and filters by name, SKU, manufacturer code and specifications;
  • a product card with a list of compatible models, an original or aftermarket label and dimensions;
  • several photos of the part and a replacement video or instructions;
  • product import from Excel or a supplier price list with price and stock updates;
  • availability statuses, lead times for items on order and wholesale prices for repair shops;
  • Nova Poshta, online payment and payment on delivery.

We show the list of compatible models in the product card as text, so both the site search and Google can find it. Title templates generate product names following the pattern part for brand and model, so a large catalog doesn't need every title edited by hand.

SEO and product feeds

Buyers search by the formula part, appliance and brand: washing machine pump, water heater heating element, refrigerator door seal. For such queries we create category and filter pages with their own titles, and in the product cards we state the manufacturer and code, so Google Shopping matches the product correctly. We set up the store's general SEO basics during launch; Prom.ua and Rozetka are connected if the spare parts category is available there.

Price and launch time

A turnkey online store for home appliance parts costs from $500 on the Horoshop platform or WordPress, with the price fixed in the contract. Hosting, the domain and the platform plan are paid separately. The timeline depends on the size of the price list, the quality of the compatibility data and whether regular imports from suppliers are needed. More details are on the page on online store development and launch.

Questions and answers

How does a buyer find a part if they don't know its code?

They choose the appliance type and brand, and then search by model: model numbers are listed in the product cards. For difficult cases we add a request form where the buyer sends a photo of the part and of the rating plate with the model number.

Can you show a list of compatible models for each part?

Yes. The list of models is stored in a separate block of the product card and is loaded from your file along with the other product data, so it doesn't have to be entered by hand.

How do you mark originals and aftermarket parts?

We show the part type in the name and in the specifications: original, compatible aftermarket part, manufacturer. The product card briefly explains the difference, so the buyer understands what they are paying for.

What about returns of parts that didn't fit?

The store owner sets the exchange terms, and we place them in the product card and at checkout. Electrical parts that have already been installed usually have restrictions, so the buyer should be warned before payment.
